ENRIQUE TABONE
Enrique Tabone (b. 1987) is a UK-based artist known for her emotive works that explore the complexities of the human experience. Growing up in Malta, her homeland's rich cultural heritage significantly shaped her artistic vision. She began her journey as a teenager at the Malta College of Art, Science, and Technology (MCAST) and later studied at the University of Salford in the UK. Now based in Greater Manchester, she conducts research and teaches at the Digital Curation Lab at MediaCityUK. Tabone’s work captures Maltese culture while addressing universal themes of identity and modernity. Her dynamic use of form and light blends traditional and contemporary elements, resulting in pieces that are both familiar and innovative, celebrated for their emotional depth and technical mastery.
