JOIN OUR WAITING LIST HERE

Join us for an immersive workshop that blends mindfulness and artistic exploration. As the first workshop in the VC Creative Hub series, this session will begin with a 30-minute guided meditation and mindful movement exercise, designed to unlock creativity and cultivate a centred, present state of being.
Following this, Emma Fsadni will introduce the technique of monoprinting in its most stripped-back form. She will guide you through varying preparative choices that influence the print’s direction, while reflecting on how the curtained nature of the final outcome encourages spontaneity and a gentle detachment from perfectionism.
Participants will then have the freedom to explore the medium at their own pace, allowing the meditative practice to naturally extend into their creative expression.
The workshop will conclude with an interactive reflection, where participants are invited to share their experiences and the work they’ve created during the session.
All practical supplies will be provided, including paper, ink (monochrome), rollers, and collage materials. However, you are welcome to bring along any additional materials you wish to incorporate into your work.

Biography:

Emma Fsadni is a creative with a B.A. Honours in Fine Arts. Her practice centers on two-dimensional media, primarily monoprint and painting. She finds these mediums allow a level of sensitivity in execution to be maintained.
Fsadni’s work engages with themes such as habits, perception, conditioning, and social conformity, distilling these complex ideas through a minimal aesthetic, while retaining intricacy in process.
Her creative process often unfolds through series, reflecting the harmony she finds in sequence and repetition. This rhythmic approach is further shaped by her background in meditation and mindful movement, resulting in work that embodies a mindful presence — inviting the viewer to pause and reflect on both the aesthetic and conceptual layers at play.
